This is just going to be a short post, because I have an early morning ahead of me and need to get to sleep, but also because this is a mani I did before I ever intended to post pictures online. But I'm really proud of it and it got tons of compliments! :) And most of all, it wasn't even very difficult nail art.
Thumb - my least favorite. It is supposed to signify when I used to draw on my nails with whiteout. Colors: Orly Rock It and white striper polish
Index - a pencil! Two coats of China Glaze White on White, then a tiny Italian Polish, unnamed yellow, Ulta Quick Silver, and Essie French Affair.
Middle - ruler. Essie Case Study and black nail art pen.
Ring - chalkboard. Wet N Wild Black Creme, white striper (with a tiny brush), and Essie Matte About You for the matte chalkboard effect
Pinky - loose leaf paper. China Glaze White on White, Wet n Wild Bird Bath, and pink striper
All, except the matte ring finger, have a coat of Seche Vite on top.
What do you think? Would you rock nails like these?
Ciao,
Maria
I realize now that the ring finger says A+. At first I thought it was an angle with the vertex labeled x. Actually, mine makes more sense - why would a grade be on the chalkboard? Really good job either way though.
ReplyDeleteI was just soooooooooo fantastic the teacher wrote "Maria: A+" on the board, apparently :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment!
